Box Bot
Like many others, Roberto Hernandez has taken a liking to Canelo Alvarez. A
great boxer but in order to achieve greatness one must train and put in hard work.
However, many might not have the same resources as Canelo Alvarez. For this reason, we have decided to create a robot that helps an individual become Canelo Alvarez.
The need for this is for people who are just getting into boxing
and do not have the time or money for private trainers and a boxing
gym membership. It is also very difficult to practice your defense without
a sparring partner.

Team Hollywood has decided to create the Box Bot, it
allows you to practice your defense in boxing. This robot allows you to work
on your footwork by moving in different directions at you. Also, this robot allows
you to work on blocking and dodging shots by having three different pool
noodles come after you in three different directions.

Robot Services
Box Bot provides three different services for a boxer to improve their boxing defense skills
Footwork
Roomba wheel modules from iRobot provides for the robot to move quickly around the room along with making sharp but swift turns. This allows for the user to work on footwork and keeping up with their opponent.
Dodging & Blocking
Three pool noodles are attached to DC motors which allow them to attack the user quickly. The user must act quickly in trying to dodge or block the pool noodles. This allows for the user to work on their defense in hopes when in a real match they are more prepared.
Timing
With the Box Bot moving around and attacking you with pool noodles it allows for the user to work on their timing with dodging and when to attack their opponent. However, the Box Bot can not take a hit so the user must be careful.
