Sketch Model Challenge

Love Mobile

A fun challenge to design and build a sketch model of a device capable of being pushed or

pulled to play dodgeball with.

For this project, we were tasked with designing and building a device capable of being

pushed or pulled to compete in a game of dodgeball. Our design consisted mostly of paper-like materials as

well as insulation foam board, and tape.

Our functional requirements were decided during the first week of class. We were able to achieve most of our functional requirements with the exception of our weight cost being over 25kg. During the dodgeball game, our front two wheels broke off, however, the other four wheels were able to withstand the remainder of the competition. Also, our design was able to win the race.
